Tarantella and Pizzica diabolical sound

Today I'd would like to show you an incredible sound: music and dance: TARANTELLA and PIZZICA.
Tarantella becomes from the name of spider.
Some time ago, in the folk culture, in Puglia persons belief that some spiders called 'Tarantola' from the town of Salento , Taranto, trasmitted a sickness and the only treatment was: to dance ; the "Tarantella" or "Pizzica", that means little-bite.
I remember very well that in some old TV programs just from all '50's and '60's this belief was very live: as some orror films old women has paroxisms... very incredible.

Unfortunatley I don't find these old documents but as soon as possible I'll pubblic its in my Blog on old religions and pagan beliefs [update: this is the link where You can find a Full Documentary on Pizzica in English language ].

To don't forget these traditions ( the treatment become an art) just from few years Apulia region organise The nigh of Tatanta and now the director is one of member of PFM Mauro Pagani one of Sanremo concert band's director worked with De Andrè, Daniele Silvestri, Negramaro and many others.

That manifestation now is developed in all Apulia and now, if you go in August in Apulia you can certnly see a concert of Tarantella.
PS: I add here only 6 videos: 'taranta' must 'to live', I hope  you, one day, can go to Salento and to see that incredible show, "La notte della Taranta" (The night of Taranta) .
