GIGI D'ALESSIO borns 40 years ago in Naples. Just from baby he loves music and when he has only 12 years old, starts to study piano in Nasple's Conservatory, where only 21 years old becomes 'Maestro' , or Master.
He plays in some fests, where Merola earing to him: D'Alessio starts to plays the piano in Merola's band, where is beautiful voice shows to all; starts to sing, and plays piano, after that he countinuos his little concert, plays in the teathers together Merola and thanks to Merola he makes his first discos: He has big success in Neaples; he sings in neapolitan dialect, the texts of the songs are around the loves,around the difficults of teenagers as camorra, talks about the real life of all days; very popular texts: it's the 'popular neapolitan music', a big world unknows in italy and to italian autorities but where, for a little price many Cds are recording, are plaings and are selling without the control of taxes, but there is only a control: the camorra's control...
 In 2001 Gigi D'Alessio is the most famouse neapolitan singer, debuts in Sanremo and all Italian pubblic, now, can see the face that earns many times in the radios or in the 'neapolitan restaurants' or 'neapolitan pizzerie', that are in all italian towns.

Gigi D'Alessio is one of the best Italian singers. The wonderful concert we had in Malta (August 11) is a night that i will never forget ;)
