Avere i Fori Imperiali come sfondo alle immagini della Festa della Repubblica aiuta a mettere tutti d'accordo sullo svolgimento di questa ricorrenza nazionale.
I Fori Imperiali ospitano da oltre 20 secoli parate militari e sono stati rimodernati dal Re d'Italia Vittorio Emanuele II° che decise di fare un monumento in ricordo al 'padre della patria,' suo padre Vittorio Emanuele II°, chiamandolo Il  Vittoriano, ( oggi lo si conosce come L'Altare della Patria)  questi  ne hano fatto un vero e proprio capolavoro a fini istituzionali, tra arte antica e del periodo, lo sfondo della parata militare riesce quindi ad avere un gran fascino, con il Colosseo alle spalle, e con la semplice idea, presa da pochi anni, di mettere la bandiera italiana nel monumento simbolo del Nostro paese, immagine che io ho ripreso per questo Blog ( in alto a sinistra).
Putroppo gli italiani hanno in larga parte un sentimento di critica verso le istituzioni così forte che a volte sembra essere masochismo.
20 anni di fascismo prima, e altri 60 anni di scontro politico comunisti-fascisti ( se mai in Italia siano esistiti VERI fascisti e VERI comunisti...) hanno così imbruttito gli animi che per anni chi seguiva questa festa veniva accusato di fascismo.
Nonostante io mi consideri un antifascista sono un forte nazionalista della cultura italiana. Sarà un peccato? Sconterò questo peccato all'inferno, allora.
Nel 1946 si decise, tramite un referendum di trasformare il Nostro Stato da Monarchia a Repubblica, era il 2 Giugno 1946 e da quella volta fu istituita questa Festa, ecco allora alcune delle più belle immagini della Festa della Repubblica, alcune della quali anche divertenti.
