Il Lago Trasimeno offre veramente tanto: sono decenni che Il Lago, come lo chiamano gli umbri, è meta di turisti da tutta Europa: belgi, olandesi e tedeschi in primis riempono i campeggi intorno al Trasimeno ormai dall'inizio degli anni '70 e la qualità offerta dagli operatori turistici con il tempo è sempre più aumentata.
Situato in uno dei posti più strategici d'Italia ( non per altro vi fu fatta una delle 3 battaglie di Annibale quando invase l'Italia), dal Trasimeno si può facilmente arrivare nel Lazio, in Toscana e naturalmente in Umbria.
Fermarsi e villeggiare al Trasimeno significa non avere lo stress di una vacanza al mare dove magari c'è troppa confusione, avere spiagge del tutto simili a quelle del mare, ma ritrovarsi a pochissimi chilometri da importantissime mète turistiche come Roma e Firenze, un vero posto d'oro per tutti i turisti stranieri, ma anche italiani.
