Italian bidet; more hygienic toilet in the world?

Today we talk about a very particular: hygiene, especially hygiene in the bathroom and Italian bidet.

• How to use a bidet

Oggi parliamo di un argomento molto particolare: di igiene, in particolare di igiene del bagno.
Usare il bagno é una delle prime cose che ci insegnano da bambini e la facciamo in modo automatico, quasi senza pensare.
Andiamo al bagno, ci puliamo, ci laviamo e puliamo il bagno.
Dietro a queste semplici procedure però, c'é tutta una storia, una cultura ed una tradizione che arriva da lontano e che non è la stessa in tutti i paesi del mondo.

Il Bidet ad esempio, é un'invenzione francese del XVII°, che arrivò quasi subito in Italia grazie alla monarchia che c'era all'epoca a Napoli.
Da Napoli, questa bella tradizione si allargò in tutta Italia e furono proprio gli italiani ad esportarla in Sud America, in Nord Africa e nel Medio Oriente; in questi ultimi posti, anche grazie agli insegnamenti del Corano che dice di usare acqua per pulirsi ( ...e purificarsi).

In Italia molti però non sanno che il bidet é praticamente sconosciuto nei paesi della Nord Europa, del Nord America e dell'Australia.
In quei paesi non vivono persone sporche, che non si lavano, ma... diciamo che hanno altri usi e costumi.
Una volta che vai in bagno si puliscono con la carta, POI, la sera si fanno la doccia, per questo fare la doccia nei paesi occidentali è una specie di obbligo giornaliero: loro non si lavano il c... emmhh.. il sedere dopo essere andati al bagno ( cosa per Noi mediterranei impensabile) ...
